Pfänder

Near the top of the Pfänder cable car you will find the Alpenwildpark Pfänder with its fabulous selection of native wild animals. An absolute must to visit is the Eagle observatory. During a show lasting about 40 minutes, you will see free-flying eagles, vultures, kites and eagle owls. The Pfänder offers ideal conditions for hiking, whether short or long; just follow the signposts. Bicycles are transported free from 09.00-10.00 and 18.00-19.00.
The cable car is open everyday from 09.00-19.00.

A visit to the Bregenz Festival should be high up on everybody's list of things to do, with its spectacular opera performances on the largest lake stage in the world and performances of rare operas at the Festspielhaus. Even outside of festival time there is a full programme of performances of all types on the lake stage or in the Festspielhaus: concerts, ballet and theatre performances. The lakeside promenade is a lovely place to stroll and if you have a passion for gaming there is always the casino.
